Georgi Tomov wins the Blitz Cup 2017!

After his triumph in the rapid championship, Georgi completed the Europchess “Double” by also winning the Blitz Cup! He averaged with more than 4 points, the best 15 tournaments accounting for an excellent 67.5 points. Already with some tournaments to go, runners-up Frank and Martin could not reach this score anymore. Martin gets a special mention for the highest number of tournaments (27) and of course tournament director Jesper Abrahamsen who organised 30 tournaments this year. A total of 51 players participated in at least one tournament.
