Paula Gitu world champion of women amateurs

Our member, the very promising 15-year old Paula Gitu from Moldova, has won the amateur championship for women (FIDE Rating up to 2000 ELO) in Halkidi (Greece) in April 2015! Scoring an incredible 8/9 she dominated the field and performed at master level. Paul kindly sent us one of her best games with annotations v. Virginia Reis, a nice attacking game against the Sicilian Defence. Europchess congratulates her to this outstanding success and wishes her all the best in her career towards many more titles to come!
