Europchess lectures schedule for 2011/2012

As every season, Europchess members can benefit from trainings and analyses of the games played in the Interclubs competition in 2011-2012 again. The analysis of the games will take place on Tuesdays following the rounds.  There are still some dates available for volunteers to hold a lecture.  Volunteers may contact Christophe Keller who will include the proposed lectures in this schedule. Europchess players battle with GMs at Limburg Open

From 10 to 13 June 2011, the 5th ENCI Limburg Open chess tournament was played in Maastricht.  A total of 307 participants were divided into three groups according to ratings.  In the A group (for players with a rating above 2000) there were seven grandmasters (Fedorchuk, Turov, Berg, Ernst, Fier, Shchekachev, Swinkels) and numerous IMs.  This year’s representatives from Europchess were Tom Wiley and Georgi Tomov, who were respectively the 30th and 31st rated...

Five new players secure a fantastic start of the season On 12 September 2010, the tournament between several Belgian chess ligues was played in Brussels.
